How to import NZB without downloading immediately
« on: 01 September 2011, 00:41:41 »
I am currently using Grabit 1.7.2. Is there any way to import an NZB file containing a list of binaries, view the file sizes, and remove unwanted files before downloading the files I want? I can't figure out how to do this; Grabit always starts downloading all of the files automatically. Do any other newsreaders have the capability I am looking for? Thanks.

You can use a workaround:
add server, Profile name: <paused>, Hostname: 127.0.0.1, Maximum allowed connections: 0

Open the NZB with this server. Select the files you want and select "Download with other server".
Select the server used for downloading.

This can also be used to keep the par2 in the list so you can download them only if you need them.

Newsleecher can auto pause files (filetype and/or filename) if they are listed in a filter.

Hey, great idea, thanks! I should have thought of that, because sometimes one of my newsservers gets an "article not found" error and I switch to the other one.
