Newsposter6 and Newsposter7.2 for linux

Newsposter6

Requires: Any Linux with bash
Newsposter6 is a working bash   script that runs in a term window to upload Binary attachments to   newsgroups. Very stable and does a great job it only lacks a GUI   interface - Menus are text driven. What NP6 does is - Creates rar files,   par2 files and posts them along with your created nfo file to the   newsgroup you choose. Also has a group history to make it easier to   select groups. dependencies are - newspost, rar/unrar. These are included in the download.

Newsposter7.2

Requires: Gnome + Nautilus (Redhat, Fedora,   centOS, Others using Nautilus)
Newsposter7.x works entirely   in nautilus menus. It is different than newsposer6 in that its   graphical and very easy to use. Right Click on the file to post and answer a few questions and off it goes! Install instructions are included in the tarball and   should work on any linux distro that has zenity menus and nautilus   (i.e. gnome). If you like it let me know. If you find a bug also let me   know so I can fix it right away.
UPDATE:   12/27/2009 - finally got the par2 posting bug fixed! All   rars,nfo,par2's now post correctly.
UPDATE:   12/22/2009 - fixed bug that would not allow you to post to newly added   newsgroup unless you quit and restarted newsposter script.
